Day#4

 We started our day at 9am. I had egos for breakfast and we headed out the door. When we were driving to go plant we saw that the pigs had gotten loose. They had pushed the troff into the electric fence and climbed over. Augie grabbed a bag of food and they all followed him back until he threw the bag into the pen. They went nuts over this and tore the bag open. We then went to clear and plant and we planted 40 more saplings. We got to take a pup to practice even though it was cancelled as we were pulling in. I went to play golf for a bit and headed home.

Day #7

 Today we woke up at 9 same as usual. We headed up the hill on the mule and got to clearing trail. We probably doubled the length of the trail that we had done the day before. We have gotten close to the top of the hill and will clear out a landing at the top. the chain came off of the saw a couple times but I figured out how to tighten it so that it wouldn't happen as much. We had leftovers from Taco Night the night before. then we went to practice and ate dinner at school.

Day#1

5/8/23 1:50pm 4.5 hours today  Today we woke up at 8:45, brushed our teeth and ate some captain crunch. We headed out the door and met with Trask to see what was on the agenda. We cleared out a fenced area of debris and used the chain saws to cut down dead branches hanging over the pen. We took the piles of brush and moved them down to a burn pile with the tractor. After a quick bathroom break we went to clear out an area for planting Christmas trees. We took the brush up the road and piled it onto a different burn pile.

Day#9

 Today we woke up and started work at 9. I had yogurt for breakfast because someone left the milk out of the fridge the night before. The pigs had gotten out again and had rooted out a bit of the yard. We took the tools down the trail that we had cleared the past couple days. Trask filled in the beginning of of the trail with sand because it was flooded and muddy. We cleared more of the clearing at the top of the hill. I had my last lacrosse game of the year and lost 6-9.
